Generally, I don't like to post negatives, but I personally think Aerosmith is the worst. Their reputation of being party hard, sex crazed drug abusing, in/out of rehab rockers is not what Disney values are about. That, in my opinion, constitutes the worst band for Disney's Rock 'N Roller Coaster.

I'm torn between The Doodlebops and Shakira.
Can you imagine hearing "Hips Don't Lie" during the launch? ![Sick](images/smilies/sick.gif)
Also,
The Bangles
Hannah Montanna G.N.O playing during the launch is just terrible.
Michael Bolton. This is sort of a good idea if you look at it. If you are embarressed to scream, you can scream because everybody will cover your screams with the sound of crying.
The Villiage People
The Jonas Brothers

Actually, I think Disney selected Aerosmith for the exact opposite of all the reasons you posted. Aerosmith is one of the few bands to have a zero tolerance policy on drugs, and if I'm not mistaken, most of the members of the band are married, and have been married to their spouse for many years. Aerosmith is sort of a rarity among rock n roll bands, to some degree.

The coaster is outdoors as opposed to RnR, but it still looks pretty sweet.
I was going to mention that. I'm just up the road in NC.

That would be the slowest roller coaster ride I have ever been on.
But you could light up the first loop and have "Ring of Fire" playing...
