Do you want to plan for me, Jenn? I have two trips coming up and I haven't planned too much. I think we just want to go with the flow. We have our ADR's for the October trip(and tickets for MNSSHP) and that's about it and not even that for the December trip, except for a few things including La Nubia.

Jenn, are you and Brian planning to take the boys to the air show this weekend? We're going on Monday.

Dustin REALLY wants to do this. He has done it before and wants Amy to share the experience. He didn't think they were as expensive as they are.
I told them I would get them MVMCP tickets for them that night. What a suprise that would be if I got La Nouba tickets instead.

So the MTA (the people that run the trains and buses in NYC) is installing new benches on the street so the train won't flood. Unfortunately, they are not installing these benches at my station. My station has so much water in it that I can tell when the train is coming because the trash starts to float the other way. There is enough water that the concrete is crumbling in the walkway and on the stairs. I want flood control benches too! (And I'd like them to clean up the blood, too...but maybe that's asking too much?)

So I thought of something positive about work! My new classroom does NOT have a hole in the floor this year! (Well, not one that I'm aware of anyways lol!)

Hey, I forget to tell everyone that I finally won a Dream at Disney World. Yup, on my last day walking over toward World Showcase, it was a little before opening at 11am. I'm on the main area from Future World toward World Showcase, there is a Cast Member telling people to go toward the left as they were giving out something. So I got a pair of Dream Mouse Ears! It took me how many trips to get those Mouse Ears, a lot I tell you. So how cool is that?

It took me how many trips to get those Mouse Ears, a lot I tell you. So how cool is that?

Too funny, someone just asked me that last Thursday about my screen name. My cat's name was Mia, she died in 2004. I use to call her Mia MauiMouse so I guess that stuck with me and use that as a screen name for a lot of different places. A lot of people think it's from Maui Hawaii, where I have been a long time ago. But no it's from my Mia who I miss dearly even today.

Now I need a question, anything laying around, other than someone else cat?

Just got back from dinner at my parent's house. They have been real nice to include me on things since Mike has been gone. He'll be home tomorrow thank goodness. I like some alone time, but not quite this much. He said Jim's wake was really nice, lots of people with a lot of really nice things to say. He's now talking about us buying Jim's farm, he doesn't think Paula will stay for very long. Don't think we can afford a 40 acre farm in upstate NY but I guess I don't rule anything out, I absolutely never say never that's for sure. I've seen the place and it's beautiful, would sure be a nice change for us. Plus I could bug Pogo whenever I wanted!

How was everyone's day today? I hope the weather was as gorgrous where you are as it was here. I started my weekend off right with a shopping trip with my best friend on Friday, and today I went to the wedding of one of my friends from grad school. Tomorrow a group of friends and I are going to Buffalo for Chicken Wing Fest! How many wings do you think I can eat?

I dunno...it IS pretty humid around here. We have been "dealing with the remnants of tropical storm Fay". The weather people were talking about it coming all week and saying we were gonna get a bunch of rain. Well we got almost nothing but a cloudy sky and high humidity. Fine with me!

The subway DOES smell. Badly. Like pee. And who knows what else. It has its own special smell.

Buffalo has a Chicken Wing Fest? That's unique. Can you eat 100?
