We usually always go for 7 days, 6 nights...or sometimes we'll stay for 8 days at the longest.
Been there, Haven't done it all...GOING BACK!!!
Next trip "Home" - September 3-10th 2016 at the Beach Club Resort! Giannas 1st trip to WDW!!!
-
Our 1st trip was 5 days & our longest was 9 days! We've found that we really enjoy the longer trips because we feel alot more relaxed and can build in more down time & have more time for exploring other parts of WDW other than just the parks! But we've also combined 6 days at WDW with 2 days at the beach afterwards for some time to unwind from our crazy Disney pace and that was wonderful too!

We usually only get 3 days maybe 4. But it's a long weekend for us as we live in Tampa. I would love a week or more, the schedules just don't seem to work out that way!

I think you want to strike that and reverse it -- 7 nights / 8 days?? Of course, I could be wrong and you get there late one evening and leave early morning after the 7th night.
We try to arrive as early as possible and make our trips 7 nights / 8 days, leaving mid to late afternoon on the 8th day.

We always stay for 8 nights and 9 days...we feel that it gives us enough time to see everything!
-
We're generally a 6 night family (I don't say 7 days since the travel days just don't count IMO!) but oh how I wish we could stay longer. Vacation time and budget don't allow for a longer stay but I think it would be WONDERFUL to be able to relax more with a longer stay.

7 nights and 6 full days at the parks. That should be plenty of time....I hope.

I use to stay about a week only, was enough time to relax but not so much that I didn't want to leave.
Now that DW and I( live on the other side of the planet, it is a 2 week minimum. We pulled 13 days in Sept and still didn't do everything we wanted to (because we actually relaxed and enjoyed our holiday). Were we mad for missing a few things.. maybe a little annoyed, but it's an excuse to go next year (maybe a little longer) and try to hit those things.

Before we lived an hour away, our average trip was 7 to 10 days. Now w do not think twice about going for an afternoon or a day. It really changes your outlook to know that you do not have to kill yourself to get everything done.

Our first was a Sat (late, late) to Thursday, and our second was a Sat to Sat and our last was a Friday to Friday. I would love to stay for at least 10 days. I would love to have the time to explore more than just the parks. I am always go, go, go because I am afraid I won't get everything in.
