I live in Raleigh, NC - gas prices are just over $3/gallon. When we were in Fernandina Beach, FL for my cousin's wedding last week, we paid $2.89/gallon.

on my way to work alittle while ago..it was at 2.65..
so in a weeks time it almost went down a quarter!!

Just went out today and saw our gas is down to $2.39/gallon. That's 30 cents lower then when I posted 8 days ago. May have to go out and buy a tanker truck soon to fill up. lol

Most of the gas in the St louis area is at 2.49 but yesterday I went to Costco where I am a member and got it for 2.19. Down in the Springfield Mo area it is around 1.97.

Why couldnt have been this cheap the first week of Sept when I spent $345.00 round trip for fuel to visit the World.

But it was worth it.

We are finally below $3.00!!!!

Right now we are at $2.75 which is still more then everybody else it seems but its the cheapest its been in a couple years so I'm happy!!

I was thrilled to fill up for $2.83 a gallon here in San Diego on Sunday. But I've seen reports that you can find it for as cheap as $2.55 if you search for obscure little stations in out of the way places.

Do you think the gas prices will go back up again after the Elections or is there some other reason they have fallen so much.

The prices may go back up some but the gas companies have admitted that they inflated the prices, which we all knew, so maybe the government will make them keep the prices down now. There are so many enities that have caused all this financial mess that it is pitiful.

Gas is at $1.69 per gallon in Wayne, NJ. Yippee!

One good thing I got in the habit of doing, was when gas was so high I always filled up when my tank was 1/2 full. I'm still doing that! I go through about 1/2 a tank a week in my Suburban. $34.00 this week to fill up, which still would only be around $70 for a full tank~a much welcome relief from $130 it had been! Amen and Hallajuah!

We are now at $1.69 for regualr and $1.89 for Premium. In almost a month its dropped 56 cents a gallon. Gotta love it.

Folks headed to WDW

this week can expect to find gas in the $1.85/$1.95 range. Hess stations on property were showing $1.91 on Friday.

Diesel is down to $2.72 in several areas; that's a big relief after paying $4.89 just a short while ago!
