Breakfast at Ft Wilderness
We are staying at Ft Wilderness for the first time in February. We were wondering what our options for breakfast were? Does the trading post sell biscuits or other breakfast food that we can cook? Is there a grocery store that delivers to the cabins? We usually eat breakfast at our hotel but are new to FW. Thanks for the help.

I think Trails End is open for breakfast, and rumor has it, Trails End is outstanding.

We love to cook our own at FW, but the breakfast at Trail's End is wonderful. It is good for all meals, but we really like breakfast the best.

I have never been to Trails end for breakfast... We may have to try it!
The trading post does sell all sorts of food including bread, eggs, cheese, milk, toaster pastries, cereal, etc. We generally eat in the cabin.

OK...there are a lot of options at FW for food. We stay at the FW cabins because of the kitchens and the fact that we can cook our own food there.
The Trading Posts are great for some staples and prepared meals in s crisis, but we avoid them for real food shopping.
For delivery, you should look at somthing like Garden Grocer. Do a web search and forum search for more details, but they come well recommended.
We make two grocery runs in a week...one on our first day and another half way through the week. There are several grocery stores just outside the Disney property that you can grab some real groceries at. You'll need a car to get there.

Trailsend is ok 11.99 for all you can eat buffet style the usual eggs, waffles, french toast, potatoes, bacon, suasage, fruit, ceraland they make breakfast pizza to mention a few we usually eat at the camper cost less plus we don't need ressies we will go there the day we leave to save on cleanup but we feel the food isn't as good as it use to be still ok but nothing to rave about but its just breakfast so how bad can it be right i would try it once then you can decide for your selves

Trail's End is fantastic for breakfast! My kids and I can't wait to eat there each trip. We usually eat there 3 to 4 times during our stay. Another option for you is to take a boat from the marina or walk the bike trail over to the wilderness lodge and have breakfast at Roaring Forks, which is CS. Another tradition for us is to buy donuts at the Meadow trading post and eat at the picnic tables overlooking the bike barn and campfire sing along area.
Have a great time
Sean

Another vote for Trails End. We traditionally eat here on our last morning before we hit the road. We will be staying at the Cabins our next trip in December and I hope to eat here a time or two!

Hi! Do you need reses. at trails end for Breakfeast? Or any of the other meals? Thanks!
-
I recommend making reservations at Trails End.
I have seen people have to wait for awhile..especailly for breakfast.

No reservations needed for trails end since campground is not at capacity anymore due to economy, however, as stated in previous posts food is not as good as in previous years, just back from yearly trip in november and food was a bit disappointing..

We love Trails End. Just got back and ate dinner there. The biggest complaint is lack of desserts. We made a reservation for dinner, but got hungry early and went on over. We got right in. Breakfast is usually not overly crowded but depends on what time you go in. It is a good hot breakfast for less than other restaurants. We just love the atmosphere. The only food I have ever eaten that made me grimace was the mac and cheese. It has and never will be good unless they change brands. I am a mac and cheese lover from childhood and theirs is just gross.

Shopping for Breakfast at the Trading Post
We are flying to WDW with no opportunity to stop and shop before we arrive at the FW cabin in Sept. All the previous comments about food for sale at the Posts has been very helpful, but do they have any fresh fruit? Apples, bananas? Or should we just plan on a little hike over to Roaring Forks to purchase fruit early in our stay?
We realize prices will be higher at the Posts, but that may be acceptable for just milk, OJ, donuts, butter and fruit. We will probably bring our own cereal, bagels and tea bags as those don't have to go in the "one quart zip top bags"!
Any more recent reports from the Trail's End at breakfast? Eating there the last morning sounds like a great idea!

Do they have Mickey Waffles?!
