? about live trip reports

I love reading the live trip reports, but I had a question.

Do all of you pay for the added internet service for your whole trip, just special days or are there "free" areas you can use?

We are heading down and we're thinking of bringing our laptop but I don't think I want to add the internet connection fee on.

Someone told me once that there is a Panera Bread down Oceola Pkwy that has free WiFi. I didn't try it though. Hopefully someone will come along here and confirm.

I have a Verizon broadband card, which is how I connect at the world (for work as well as live trip reports). To the very best of my knowledge, there are no free wifi spots on resort property. If you don't use a broadband card, you have to pay the daily charge (but it does not have to be for the length of your stay).

While I've not been the the Panera mentioned by PP, it would be logical that they would have free wifi, as every other Panera I've ever been in does as well.

I, too, have chosen not to travel with the laptop though there are times that I've been tempted - not to post live reports - but to more easily get my reports and notes in order to post when I get home!

We have the 10 dollar a day package from The Swan. This includes, 2 bottle of water a day for us to take around the parks, newspaper delivery every morning, and high speed internet access for the length of our stay.

It works for us and I like the fact that I can check things out even while I am on vaction, including posting my live trip reports!
