POP Baby Pool: Was it closed when you were there?

Hi all, we just returned from WDW and a stay at POP. One of the things we were really looking forward to was having my DD (age 2) play in the baby pool. Well low and behold the baby pool was closed THE WHOLE TIME, due to broken pipes (supposedly)! I spoke to the manager the first day we were there and he said "They were working on the problem diligently". My DM spoke to two other managers, on two separate occasions, later in our stay, and they both claimed they weren't aware the pool was even closed. How odd...

So here is my question: if you stayed at POP recently, was the baby pool closed when you were there? We were there from 5/25 through 6/2, so I'm interested in the dates before that. I have a feeling the managers weren't being very honest with us and we are very disappointed. Thanks for your input!

This is not good news since we will be arriving with our 2 year old next Monday.

we were there 5/5-5/12 and it was open day 1 of our trip and then closed from that point on.

We were there last decemeber and it was closed. I was upset b/c the week we were there got really hot, and my dd would of loved it. They gave me the same excuse.

I was there 5/21-5/26 and it was closed the whole time, with plywood thrown in the pool.

I actually just got off the phone with the front desk manager at pop century. She stated that the Pool has a broken pipe and that the pool should be fixed with in the next week. She said they were told that the pool was going to be down for 3 weeks and that they were now approaching the 3 week mark, so keep your fingers crossed. Hope this info helps
