We are excited to be back the great USA, and yes, living so close to WDW is a dream. I'm sure we'll enjoy it! My hubby thinks we'll want to retire there.

Yes this life has it's disadvantages (living far from home, lots of separations) but there are many, many advantages as well. It's a good life, and one we enjoy and are honored to live. How else would we ever have been able to visit the Asia Disney parks? For that I'm very thankful!

Welcome home, and thank both of you so much.
Just wanted to share something with you. While we were in Epcot in May a few weeks ago, we happened to catch Tony Orlando's performance. He did a tribute to our soldiers and asked for people currently serving or who had previously served to stand. I was blown away by how many people stood. You could tell it really moved the crowd, and we got goosebumps as we were able to honor them for just a few minutes. What a privilege to experience that!

My brother-in-law just redeployed last week, about 2 wks after he, his wife and 2 boys made their move to his new station in CA. I have a lot of respect for military spouses and those serving our country. My husband is a very proud ex-Marine and we love our country and it's dedicated service men and women. Welcome back stateside!
