Default Room Limits Changed - So Excited!!!

We have been debating about staying with family at OKW the 2nd half of our Oct. trip, but weren't sure due to cost. My sister, who has DVC, called today to get prices again. The CM told her that one-bedrooms are now approved for 5 people instead of 4 and two-bedrooms are now approved for 9 people instead of 8 (we are 14 + 1 infant). We can now all stay in a two-bedroom and a one-bedroom instead of 2 two-bedrooms, so it will be much cheaper. Yeah!!!

We had to move to SSR, but I'm also excited about that since I have never been. My immediate family (DH & kids) will spend the first three nights at POFQ (just us) and then the kids will get to be with all of their cousins the last four days. Thanks for all of the suggestions - everything has worked out great!

I hope the room limit changes spread around, since we will be considered 5 the next trip!

I don't think that's anything new for DVC members. I'm pretty positive that 5 in a one bedroom unit has always been allowed if you are a owner. It's part of the membership agreement, although they will not provide bedding for the additional guest.

Weird! My sister has had DVC for 15 years, gone for at least 2 weeks every year, and has taken numerous guests. It seemed like news to her - boy has she missed out! I guess she could have taken one extra person all of this time - lol!
