I just got an offer for this place, a very good one. Anyone stayed here? It says it's been redone. It appears to be a DTD good neighbor hotel. If you stayed here what are your thoughts?

Since you aren't getting a lot of responses, I'll mention that a work colleague of mine stayed there for a conference last November and didn't have anything bad to say about it.
We stayed there a few times when it was still the Grosvner and didn't have any problems and I've heard good things about it since the re-hab. The location is great, esp. if you're on the Epcot side, we watched Illuminations most nights from our room.
Thanks guys. We're on a tight budget this year for various reasons, so I am trying to decide if we save a little on accomodations will it be worth it to us and enjoyable. I appreciate the feedback.

Late reply. We've stayed at the DTD area hotels across the way and very familiar with what is now Regal Sun. These are all properties built originally in the 70s to 80s but are definitely not cheesy. I always liked the Grosvener (former name) entryarea. We were there just when it became Regal Sun. Thought the redo was nice. The DTD hotels bus service for the hotel plaza boulevard hotels cooperate and are very frequent. DTD is walkable and makes for a nice diversion to round out the Disney day experience. Though "offsite" because it is not a Disney property, they are really, physically, within the perimeters of Disney. A kind of onsite offsite. The hotel's own dining is limited but why worry when you've got DTD right there. From there all the Disney buses are available though you'd have to choose a hotel location (not direct to the parks as I recall). Use the DTD hotel plaza's own bus system to get to the parks.
