Default Which one to eat at?

We are trying to decide if we should eat lunch at 50's Prime Time or Hollywood and Vine while we are at Hollywood Studios. Or maybe have breakfast before we go to the park at O'Hana or Kona Cafe? We haven't been to any of these so any information would be grateful. Thanks

I have never eaten at 50's Prime Time (but have ressies in June ). We have had breakfast at Hollywood and Vine for the Playhouse characters and dinner for the Fantasmic package. It's a buffet and has decent food but I'm not a huge buffet fan. I think the lunch buffet is similar to the dinner one. From everything I've heard I would vote for 50's PT. And I can verify this in June but you probably want an answer sooner!

Not sure on the breakfast options you've indicated.

    Have a wonderful trip!!

50's Prime Time is a must! It is such a great experience. Ever since the first time we went to 50's we make it our go to every time we're at HS.

The 50s Prime Time Cafe is an unique Disney resturant and will be remembered far after your trip. We eat there on most of our trips. As you have probably read, the wait staff gives you a hard time about setting the table, putting your elbows on the table and finishing your veggies. All the decor is from the 50s and there is a TV at your table showing clips from old TV shows from that era. Lots of fun.

Of course not everyone likes every Disney resturant but if you have not tried it, I would highly recommend it.

50's Prime Time Cafe has 2 very big advantages.

1 - The restaurant is a lot of fun.....if you mind your manners!

2 - The food is soooo good....especially if you like good downhome cooking.

Hollywood and vine provided me with my worst experience at Disney World ever, so I would go with mcdonalds over it.

Most definatly 50's Primetime. Hollywood and Vine is a joke of an example for a Disney resturant IMO.

For the breakfast option i would go with ohana's but if u want the Tonga Toast i would go to Kona... or u can always go to Captain Cooks for that...

We are going to 50's for the first time in two weeks however we did Vine and Dine and it was disgusting! The characters were cute and fun but the food was terrible!

I would reccomend 50's Prime Time Cafe unless you have preschool children and then Hollywood and Vine is a good choice. We have been to both. We went to Hollywood and Vine this December with family who have 2 year old twin daughters and they loved it. As for our family with an 11 year DD, we would do 50's Prime Time Cafe or Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater as our first choices.

Have a great time and if you go to 50's, order a milkshake for me.
