I think there is an outdoor food place where they do something that keeps the bird away. I can't remember the details but maybe someone else here can run with that and get the answer.

Yes you are correct!! (Sorry, i didnt see it before) The Eiffel Tower is scaled down for the park, and to prevent birds landing on it (and looking like giants), they put a sticky substance on it.
