Default Nassau Excursion Opinions . . .PLEASE

I will be cruising with my DH and 6 year old son and am trying to choose between two Nassau excursions. We love Castaway Cay and want another beautiful beach day like that. We thought about Atlantis, but narrowed it down to Blackbeard's Cay Stingray Beach or Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day. Any recommendations?? Is one prettier or less crowded than the other?? Just want a beautiful, relaxing, "real bahama beach day". Thanks for your input

We've done both of those excursions, and you can't go wrong with either one. If your son would enjoy touching holding and feeding the stingrays, he'll think that is really cool. If you just want to hang out on the beach, go to Blue Lagoon. We've never been to Atlantis, I know it would be really cool but it was a little pricey.

Thanks. Is one of the beaches prettier or less crowded than the other?

I think Blue Lagoon beach/island is prettier to the eye. Water is the same of course.

We just did the Blackbeard Cay Stingray Adventure on 12/4 and loved it!!! My 10 yr old jumped in and started touching them. My 6 yr old was a bit timid, but warmed up eventually. The boat ride is 20 minutes to the island, which is really nice. It has a pen where the stingrays are kept and then a separate private beach used only by those on the excursion. Lunch (a burger, chips and soda) is included. Our boat left at 9:45am and we were back at the ship by 3pm. We had a great time and for the money, it was totally worth it!!
