Another update regarding the lunch situation. Unfortunately, Heartland will not provide a separate kids' menu or price if we choose the cheaper option. Folks with children coming, does this present a problem? By way of comparison, here's the more expensive option, which costs $27 per adult and $15 per child:
Appetizer course
(Select Two, Served Family Style)
Classic Caesar Salad with Garlic Parmesan Croutons
Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls with Spicy Dipping Sauce
Field of Greens Salad with Chophouse Vinaigrette
BBQ Quesadillas with Tomato Salsa and guacamole
Crispy Fried Calamari with Spicy Marinara
Fresh Baby Spinach Salad with Goat cheese, Apples and Pine Nuts
Popcorn Shrimp with Cajun Remoulade
Entrée Selection
(Select Three)
Romanian Tenderloin
Grilled & Marinated
Traditional Fish and Chips
With Homemade Tartar Sauce
Chicken Marsala
Mushroom Wine Sauce
Lobster & Maine Crab Ravioli
Oven Dried Tomato Basil Saffron Broth
Teriyaki Chicken Breast
With a soy Glaze
Grilled Atlantic Salmon
With Lemon Caper Butter Sauce
Wild Mushroom Ravioli
With Sautéed Asparagus in a Tomato Herb Broth
Accompaniments
(Select Two – Served Family Style)
* Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes * Homemade Idaho Potatoes * Baked Asparagus with Parmesan * Chophouse Classic Creamed Spinach
* Sautéed Mushrooms * Sweet Potato Mash
* French Fried Potatoes * Stacks O’ Onion Rings
Dessert
(Choice of)
Homemade Key Lime Pie
NY Cheesecake
Coffee and Tea Service Included
Heartland Rolls & Creamy Butter
Entrée Selections
Choice of
Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Mac and Cheese
Mini Burgers with Fries
Chicken Tenders with Fries
Dessert
Ice Cream
Unlimited Sodas
I know the arrangement is not necessarily ideal either way, but with a group this large, I understand it. I will happily go with the cheaper option, but I don't want to inhibit families coming with children.
Update: I spoke with Heartland again, and they agreed to give us the $15 kid's menu with the cheaper adult option, so all is well. I will return later letting you know exactly how much money lunch will cost, including tax and tip. That way, everyone can bring the right amount of money.

Another update: The meal will cost $25.78 per adult, including tax and tip. Please plan accordingly.
I need to know as soon as possible if there's anyone who plans to come to the tour but not to lunch. I need to give the party planner at the restaurant a headcount, and I want to make it as accurate as humanly possible.

Another update (tired of me yet):
I spoke with the lovely folks at the Times Square Disney Store. The tour they have set up for us sounds delightful.
Anyone bringing children, I need to know if anybody is celebrating a birthday or any other event. At least one child is, and I don't want anybody to feel left out.
Also, I need at least one parent volunteer willing to chaperon the kids' tour.
Thanks!

I think if you're in a pinch, my DH will go with the kids on the tour. He's a big kid himself.
I don't know about everyone else, but I vote for the less expensive option. Sounds like plenty of food.

I know that either myself or my husband will also go with the children. Our kids are only 3 and 4, so one of us will go with them.
Next Visit: Fall 2013
Now approaching the Carousel of Progress
We have 999 happy haunts here, but there's room for a thousand. Any volunteers?? If you should decide to join us, final arrangements, may be made at the end of the tour.

Excellent. I knew we wouldn't have an issue, but I wanted to pass along the message the woman from the Disney Store gave me.
As for lunch, we are going with the cheaper option. It will cost each adult $25.78 (including tax and tip), so please plan accordingly!

Jared,
Please remove my name from the list. My Sister In Law passed away yesterday and I will not be able to attend.
Thanks

Folks, I am signing a contract and sending it to Heartland Brewery today. It guarantees that we will have at least 20 people for lunch. This means I need to know right away if you are not planning to attend the lunch. I really don't want to be stuck paying an extra $100 for people who do not show up!
As a reminder, please bring cash or a check for $25.78 per adult and $15 for children. That includes tax and tip. Also, please check your private messages. I am sending out my cell phone number to everybody.
Thank you very much, and I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Not silly at all.
I will arrive at the Disney Store around 10:30 a.m. and will be waiting just inside the front entrance with a list of everyone planning to come. I will be wearing a burnt orange INTERCOT t-shirt.
I assure you it won't be difficult. You'll see a group of confused-looking folks decked out in Disney apparel. Anyway, if you have trouble, or you're one of the first to arrive, just give me a call. Sending out my phone number now.

I just realized something. Does everybody actually know where the store is located?
It's right on Broadway between 45th and 46th streets. Please let me know if you need directions from a train station or bus station or anything of that nature.
