Do the mansions sleep 5 people and have the mansions been upgraded to queen beds...I was under the assumption that alligator bayou was the only section...

No. The mansion rooms only sleep 4, you need a room with a trundle bed to sleep 5.

Yes, all rooms at POR are getting reburb'd, some to "royal" rooms, others just a regular refurb, and all are getting queen beds.

Thanks for replying so quickly we booked a room for 5 but called ahead cause we had special requests for medical reason and they gave me my building number and when I looked it was a mansion and we are always in the other area and my memory told me the same thing but wanted to confirm before I called back! Thanks Again we check in on Tuesday and don't want to deal with this as the start of our vacations!!

I cannot speak from personal experience but I have read that they do occasionally put 5 in the mansion rooms if alligator bayou is full. We have stayed there 3 times and aslways been in the bayou section though. GoodLuck!

I've been told all rooms now have queen beds ... that portion is complete.
