    Question AKL or Saratoga Springs?

We are going to Disney in December and currently have a deluxe studio at AKL booked for 6 nights. Our other option was Saratoga Springs. What are your opinions on these choices and which would you have chosen? It will be me, my DH, DD and DS.

AKL is my favorite resort even though it is out there. The only problem with it is there are a lot of rooms with "Safari" view that are poor. I am not sure about the new building, but the original with rooms facing Arusha Rock are incredible. Others may have more opinions on the other views. In Oct, we found our Pool View room 100x better than our "Safari" view room.

As for SSR, I have no information.

I would pick AKL. The resort is newer and will probably be a bit nicer. (Plus there is the bonus of having the animals there!)

Never stayed at AKL, but it would DEFINITELY be my choice. We stayed at SS and were highly disappointed. Not impressed at all!

stayed at SSR not for me..... too spread out. not much to see there, except for the main pool....AWESOME. stayed in the studio paddock section. just over the lake. bus service was a bit of a wait but never crowded. coming home from the parks was no problem either. but if i had to choose i would def try AKL either way it will be a great trip.

If it were me I'd go with SSR. A little quieter and the boat ride to DTD is very nice.
