Franklin Family Hit WDW Oct 2011 - Pre-Trip Report

We've done the double digit dance and with just under six weeks to go we just couldnt wait to post our Pre-trip report

Travelling from the UK takes about nine hours. So we have booked into a hotel at the airport the night before. Therefore our journey will begin on 12th October 2011.

We are staying at POFQ - we have stayed here before and loved it due to its size and the boat to DTD.
We have reservations at Via Napoli and Chef Mickey's but these are the only two ADR's because we have free QSDP.
We have booked the Halloween Party for 20th October and hope to dig out our Pirate outfits for this.
DQ was eight last time we were in the world and wasnt very adventurous when it came to the bigger rides, we are hoping this time things may be different.

We are very excited - LOP has her organising head on so we thought it was about time to put the finishing touches to our intinerary.
We try to stick to it but DM and DF arent the best at this. They like to take their time about things - which drives LOP MAD DQ also likes the disney channel and doesnt like getting up in the morning
So LOP and I (DS) try our best to get everyone going.
Its been two years almost to the day since our last trip and I think it might be the last for a while (DQ - starts secondary school next year).
We are looking forward to warmer weather, Food and Wine Festival, drink around world showcase: and Corn Dog Nuggetts from Casey's Corner.

We have Park Hopper but outside of Disney we would like to try an Airboat ride this trip.

Another first would be to see Rope Drop at MK.

DQ - is in charge of Waterpark days.
LOP - is in charge of everything else (or so she thinks).
DS - is in charge of food

So if you see five Pirates in MK on 20th October give us an Intercot hi-5

Sounds like your ready to go! Hope you make it to MK opening ceremony. One of my "must do's" every visit~always makes me tear up!
