I know we have a lot of Pop Century fans on this board. What is your favorite building to stay in? Why?

We've enjoyed the 60's bldg # 4 for the location, the proximity to the Hippy Dippy Pool & HourGlass Lake, we enjoy a relaxing walk across Generation Gap Bridge & looking back at the views of Pop from across the lake! And the Play-Do can with the Elephant popping out the top is one of my favs! But we also really like bldg #10 of the 70's section for the proximity to the bus stops & the quiet competer pool! Very nice courtyard, quiet, nicely landscaped, and love the Mr & Mrs Potato Head Icons, and still just steps away from the Lake!

1950's and 1960's are the best for their close convenience to Classic Hall. We've stayed in the 80's, which is the decade of my youth, but it's too far away from everything, as with the 90's.

We just got back from our trip and have to say Building 4 0r 5. We were in Building 5 on the ground floor facing the Hippy Dippy Pool and loved it.

what can I say, I'm a child of the 80s. I love that building, but since I kind of grew up in both the 80s and 90s that area in general is great. I always like the big computer and the Pac Man characters chasing eachother along the floors.

    It's rad!

I prefer the 70's for its' location, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the 90's building was also conveniently placed. Our room was a short walk across the parking lot to the bus stop.

I haven't been there, but I've looked at tons of pictures in order to convince myself to stay there in 2012, and it worked! I'm partial to the 80's building, because although it gives me frightening flashbacks to my traumatic teen years, I still consider the 80's my defining decade. What I like most are the Pacman ghosts: Shadow, Speedy, Bashful, and Pokey, a.k.a., Inky, Pinky, Blinky, and Clyde.

Also, I saw some night photos of the area with the bowling pins (50's?) and thought it looked colorful and inviting.

We like the 50s and 60s sections with a lake view. you can see the fireworks at night like someone else posted about. they are also close to the main building, and the hippy dippy pool and the bowling pin pool.

we've stayed in the 50's, 70's and 90's. least favorite is the 90's felt like i was too far away from the magic, loved the 50's and the 70's was equally as nice. am trying for the 60's ground fl pool side this year. thought it would be convient for us since i am going with a scooter this year and we have a 3 year old. this way i don't need to take the scooter to the pool. very excited we are leaving in 2 days !!!! for a much needed 10 day vacation!!!! here we come MICKEY !!!
