any feedback? im thinking a little of going on next months trip a day or two early and saw a good rate here and it looks nice

We stayed there for a weekend last year and it was nice for the price. Modern rooms, pool complex with lazy river, etc. Service was good and staff members were very pleasant.

The only issue I could see is that normal Disney transportation doesn't serve HBC. They have their own shuttle with a schedule. I know I have seen other threads about that here on Intercot, so you should be able to get some feedback on that. We had a car and drove to the parks ourselves.

thanks. we wont have a car but probably would just use this as a day before the parks or to go to Universal. from wat i see the buses seem ok

We stayed at HBC over NYE. We paid $204/ night, & were very pleased with the hotel for that rate. Our rate also included a breakfast buffet for 2 people. The rates I've checked lately have been more than that though. If you found a great rate, you should definitely try it.

The provided transportation could be very time consuming. It ran hourly & included up to 3 park stops. If you missed the bus by a couple minutes, you could easily have 2 hours invested in getting to or from a park. The buses were very nice & had tvs playing Disney movies. We did like the fact that they left promptly at the time posted. There was no waiting around for stragglers.

We're trying Hilton LBV next month, hoping the buses will be more efficient. We will definitely return to HBC, but only when we find a rate that is still a good deal, when adding cab fare to & from the parks.
