    Default Military Rates?

If my husband has an honorable discharge from the Navy and an honorable discharge from the Army Reserve, will we qualify for the military discount for a room at POP? Thanks.

No, the discount is only for Active Duty, Retired, or 100% Disabled Veterans. If he is not one of those three categories, the discount does not apply.

You may want to look into Shades of Green. It has the same benefits as staying on Disney property, except for Disney transportation and use of Disney dining plans (does include EMH!) Prices are good and their resort transportation is excellent. Rooms are quite large and are on par with Disney's deluxe resorts.

    Check it out!

Yes, Shades of Green is a good suggestion.

Normally, Shades eligibility requirements are the same as Disney's for their military rates, but as White Rose pointed out, they are extending benefits to all who have an honorable discharge during the months of January and September.

    This is a great deal!

Note that this is only for January and September stays...Also note that you must have a copy of your DD 214 at checkin...that is the only ID they will accept for vets...If you don't have one, you can request yours through the National Archives and Records Administration (if discharge date was less than 60 years ago). Use the following link to start. (Since this is not a for fee service, please permit this link, moderator)
