    Default Alone for 2 days

Hi all, I haven't posted in a very long time, so I hope you guys welcome me back with as little grudge as possible. I am heading down to the World Tuesday morning into Wednesday night. My reason, INTERVIEWING TO BE A CAST MEMBER WEDNESDAY MORNING!!!! I know, I know, I am ridiculously excited.

But, onto my question. I am traveling alone and aside from a few hours Wednesday morning for the interview, I have nothing planned. Not going to the parks, so I was wondering if any of you had gone alone before and if so, what are some things I should make sure I do?

I was considering just going from resort to resort, trying drinks and wandering. But please, if you'd all be so kind, give me some ideas. THANK YOU!!

I've always wanted to travel to all of the resorts and 'poke' around - that's what I'd do! You might take the time to do one of the special activities like the "Exotic Driving Experience" that you would otherwise not make the time for.

on your interview and good luck!

    Good luck on your interview!!!

If it were me, I would hang out at some of the resorts and explore, maybe hit Downtown Disney. If I could drive stick I would totally do the Richard Petty driving thing. But, alas, that is one skill I have yet to master.

    CONGRATS and GOOD LUCK
I would tour the resorts, eat at a few counter services, sit on the beach at one of the resorts, watch the electric parade and fireworks from the Poly...mini golf, water parks...DTD...
Let us know how you make out when you get back.

How did you apply for this? I was thinking with the new Fantasyland and Art of Animation resort going in that there would be tons of job ops. How does one go about applying? By the way, Good luck on your interview!!!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and advice! I will absolutely keep you posted on how it goes. My main concern if I get the job, is finding/affording a place to live down there.

Hello everyone. Just a recap, I had a great time. The the monorail pub crawl, relaxed on some beaches, got dinner with a few cast member friends at espnclub to watch the flyers on Tuesday. Wednesday morning I had my interview and I would like to tell you all that I was told to expect a phone call from mickey mouse soon to officially OFFER ME A JOB TO WORK AT WALT DISNEY WORLD IN THE ATTRACTIONS THAT INVOLVE SPIELS. I'm so excited.

Yes I was told any of the 3 out of JC, GMR, AND KS is where I'll be working. No, they don't pay well. But since I'm only 24 and don't have kids or the ol' ball & chain, I'm basically free to go make my own mistakes.
