From: May 18, 2012 - June 10, 2012

It runs Friday, Sat, Sun during those weekends.

Im a member of the group thats in the parades for Star Wars Weekends. If you check out this link you might be able to see if there are any events in your area.

This is the Great Lakes Garrison. You should find some event they are doing. That way your son can see a stormtrooper.

Thanks Jason! I have a friend who is a member of the 501st GLG but he lives on the other side of town. Maybe I'll have to bake some brownies or something...
