Leap Year Pin

Hi there. My daughter turns 24 this month-she's a leap year baby. I'm trying to find a Disney Leap Year 2012 pin, she has 2008. I tried customer service, but they sent me to the shopping site and I don't see it. I wondered if any of you who are there had seen it and could describe it so i could try to order it again. We can't be there for the big One More Day celebration so I hoped to have this for her as a gift. Thanks for your help!

I wonder if Disney will be releasing more pins and Leap Year items as we get closer to the "One More Disney Day" celebration.

I agree, there aren't any on the Disney store site (yet)!

I went on the WDW official pin site and it doesn't show a 2012 Leap Year pin under recent releases or upcoming releases. The only ones that come up at all are the 2008 pins.

I asked about it at Disneyland today. I was told that they will be released on 2/29. They are limited editions of either 250 or 500. The CM was not sure of that. I thought of going down to be there at 6am and another guest told me that a lot of people will be camping out to get those pins...that is something I am not willing to do so too bad for me. The pins are in stock but can't be released.

I hit every pin cart I could find at WDW on One more Disney Day - I was told no special pin was released for the lanyards, just the big yellow button they gave out to everyone that came to the park that day.

Did I miss it, or did they not release one?
