Default Help me pick a restaurant!

I can make my adrs next week, and I'm still waffling... I want to book a restaurant in Epcot as part of the Candlelight Processional package. We'll be eating lunch. I was leaning toward Coral Reef, but now I'm not so sure. We'll dine at Teppan Edo later in the week, so that's not on my list. It will be DH and I, plus 2 teens and 2 kids! Thanks in advance for your input!

If it's the package for the candlelight, I believe the price will be the same for all the restaurants you picked. You have to wait until they announce the packages later this summer to book. If u book now, it's only for the meal...you can't convert to the package so u have some more time to consider. We will be waiting to make our ADRs too for the Candlelight.

If you are on the DDP then I believe regardless of which CP you book it will be a 2TS entitlement. The last time we did the CP dinner package OOP it was a tiered system, with certain restaurants (like Biergarten) costing less than say LeCellier. I don't know if the tier system is still in effect.

You probably will have difficulties even booking just a dinner reservation. Our upcoming trip in Nov/Dec is now in the bookable 180 day window. I've tried a few locations like Coral Reef, LeCellier, Garden Grill to name a few and can not get dinner reservations. The assumption being is that they haven't or won't release dinner slots until the CP dinner packages are set.

I think in 2011 the CP dinner packages were opened up some time in July.

Also, again not certain about this, but I'm not sure lunch is on the CP package, it might be dinner only.

    Good luck.

I voted LeCellier because it consistently gets great reviews on here, I wish I could vote Coral Reef but the last time I ate there it was awful and the service was worse.

For all the rave le Cellier for lunch was okay. Coral Reef we had to wait about an hour to sit even with ressies, and it was crowded and just okay food.
Les chefs de France was amazing. Having been to Paris the restaurant looked like a place in paris, our waitress was wonderful with our 7 year old twins. The food was really good, even getting my picky daughter to try a few new things.

I realize I'm in the minority here, but I actually like Coral Reef more than just about every World Showcase restaurant. It always seems to receive mixed reviews, so maybe I've just been lucky, but I've never had a disappointing meal there. I like fish a lot, so maybe that's why.

Then again, you may want to disregard my opinion. I don't understand the hype surrounding Le Cellier at all, and it's arguably the most popular and beloved Disney restaurant.

We have eaten at LeCellier and Coral Reef, but not Les Chefs or Tutto Italia. I personally enjoyed Coral Reef more than LeCellier, although they were both yummy. The vote is really close! I think right now I'm leaning toward Les Chefs due to the fact that we'll be doing lunch there and I think my 9 year-old would love a visit from Remy

Strange that the poll right now is running even. Probably because of the fact that you really can't go wrong with any of them. They all offer really good food and they all have drawbacks. I went with Coral Reef because I think it will appeal to your little ones a lot more than the other places. Plus the seafood there is really good.

We go to Le Cellier for great steaks. We also go to Chefs de France every year too. Not a bad dish at Chefs de France.

I voted for Chefs de France. The kids may get a kick out of Remy, if he makes an appearance.
