1 Believer and 1 Nonbeliever Trip Report

Me- Amy (just turned 21 on the 7th)
DBF- Joe (just had birthday on the 14th)

Sorry in advance if this is a bit long.
We will be staying at POFQ the 21-28. I usually go to WDW every year with my Mom but this year I didnt plan on going considering I am an adult now and no longer get free vacations. I also just moved to Austin, and was busy trying to establish my hairstyling career. After all the stress of moving and working long hours on my feet I decided I deserved a WDW vacation. I considered it a birthday present to myself! I also decided to drag along my DBF who has never been to WDW or anything even similar. He grew up under a rock and his family never really took family trips. He has no idea how to even comprehend WDW.

Funny DBF Conversation:

DBF: "We don't need ponchos. If it rains we will just stay in a store until it stops. We wont ride rides in the rain."
Me: "They have rides inside and we will have to get to them."
DBF: "How fun can a ride be if its inside? It must be lame."

It will be interesting to see his reaction to it. I know he is thinking Six Flags.. He has no idea what to expect considering thats his only thing to compare it to.

We will be eating at Be Our Guest , Ohanas, Akershus (I'm sure DBF will appreciate the princesses), Yak and Yeti, Crystal Palace (He will also appreciate Pooh), Coral Reef, and Mama Melrose. I also plan on checking out Jelly Rolls one night.

Thanks for reading! 6 more days until I get to eat in Beasts castle! I know its going to be the longest 6 days ever!

My DW never went on a vacation until I met her. Her family thought the State Fair for a day was vacation. Its hard to know what his reaction is going to be like. Some people simply hate WDW. For you, I hope that is not the case. If you can get his inner child out, he will have a blast. Its the only place I can go, be completely whacky, and still feel normal.
