Rooms with king size beds are a bookable category at CBR. They run about $30 more than a standard room and can have any view.

To the best of my knowledge the only moderate with suites is Coronado Springs.

And just my unsolicited opinion for a couples trip, I would pick Coronado over Caribbean Beach. It has some really nice extras.

Coronado has a nightclub for a lounge as opposed to the other moderates and it now has a club level which you can book - this offers access to a club lounge with limited food and beverage offerings throughout the day. It also has a fitness center, beauty salon, and a coffee bar. The food court is a bit different from the typical food court - you are seated by a host / hostess and given a card that's stamped with your choices at each service window. A 10% gratuity is added. It's a beautiful resort but to me, it has less of a Disney feel since it focuses on conventions. However, the busing to the parks is pretty good - usually not very crowded.

Sorry. I forgot to come back to this post. I think Kathy covered most of the extras.

Coronado also has doors between the sink area and the room. It used to have upgraded shampoo etc though they might have added that to the other resorts. They also now have added a business class that has added access to a special lounge with snacks and drinks plus a preferred room location.

It is a convention resort. I have never had an issue with the convention attendees. I have never really even noticed them all that much unless I was in that area, but everyone's experience is different.

I have heard that the 10% mandatory gratuity at the quick serve is being discontinued but I have not been there to confirm it myself.

Smile King beds at CBR are worth it!

We stayed in a king bed room in the Jamaica building on our last trip to CBR. The price difference was definitely worth it as it made for a lot more space in the room without the extra (useless) bed. The king bed option at CBR is only available in certain buildings. We were lucky to be in Jamaica which is right over the bridge (an easy walk) from the main pool and cafeteria.

Not true. Well, not exactly true. CBR has 6 villages. One of the villages, Trinidad South, is exclusively comprised of Pirate-themed rooms, and there are no king-size beds in the Pirate rooms, so no king-size beds in Trinidad South.

But all of the other 5 villages have some king-size bed rooms, and it's not like there are more in one village than another.
