New que next to kilamanjaro safaris?
What is it?
Does it cost extra?
I must say I didn't think it was much, but when I went on the safari I noticed all the new walkways and rope bridges in the ride. I assume they are there for this. Plus I saw lots of groups with safari vests on going into there and there was a safari vehicle docked on one of these bridges in the ride. Looked pretty cool.

I wonder if what you saw was the ropes and bridges for the Wild Africa Trek? The cost is $189 per person and that includes lunch. There is also a handicap accessible version. Information on the tour can be found here.

Lynn is right... That is exactly what you saw... Side note: Wild Africa Trek queue and sign in is being moved due to the upcoming construction on the new Festival of the Lion King theater...
Son of Jor-El.. Kneel before Zod...
TRICIA JONES: I heard that you were going to propose to Brandi Svenning at some theme park. When are men going to learn that women want ROMANCE, not Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...
BRODIE: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

That's definitely it thanks. I tried searching for it but couldn't find the link you posted(I hate disneys new website). Price seems a little steep I wonder if its worth it?

There was a trip report here somewhere from a family who did the tour, and they seemed to think it was well worth it. It sounded like a lot of fun. She did say that you need to be fairly fit to go over the rope bridge and manage all the walking, if I recall. I'll try to find the report and link it. Nope, can't find it. Sorry.

If you're interested, don't forget to check to see if they have a discount available. AP, DVC, Disney Visa, and I've heard AAA have all recently been qualifying.

It was great. We went about 3 years ago. Guides were great! Answered lots of questions, took lots of pictures, got really close to the animals. You got to keep the water bottle, got a CD of pictures, and lunch was really great.

We went thre years ago, and there were no discounts and its $190. You don't walk that much, and you are weighed in private to fit your vest and its also a safety harness. It's very interesting, but you see the same animals as the safari ride...just up close and personal...the bridges are cool to walk across...done only as Disney can do...we've offered to take our grandson when he turns 8 in 2015... He looks at the pictures every time he visits. My wonderful cousin made a collage of our tour in a Disney frame that we have hanging in our dining room!
