Default Can you be fashionable and still have happy feet?

Was wondering if anyone had any footwear recommendations that are cute/fashionable but offer good support and don't leave feet swollen and achy at the end of the day?

I've read about fitflops but the reviews on-line seem to mixed.

I recently went into the Easy Spirit store and they actually had some nice sandals.

I know not everyone can tolerate flip flops, but that's all I wear in Disney, unless it's too cold for them. I have never had blisters, or soar feet. However, I live in flip flops at home during the summer so it's what I am used to. I can't stand to wear tennis shoes all day, especially in the heat. My feet feel too confined and sweaty in tennis shoes in the summer.

Crocs have some very cute sandals out that are super comfortable to walk in. Also Teva does too, they don't just do hiking shoes anymore. I have problems with my feet, and I always have to go $$$ on my vacation footwear because I refuse to live in sneakers alone!

I was JUST going to ask this!

I usually wear sneakers and the traditional Crocs. But this will be our first trip when it's insanely hot this summer. I want to wear a few light dresses but yep, I need to find something more fashionable to wear with them. I have a pair of Croc flip flops and they dig into my feet so I know those would not work for me.

I alternate between fit flops (very comfy) and open toe sandals. Gives my toes and feet a switch up, and normally always a soak in the hot tub at night...even if its just my feet...except this last trip with the DGS, we all stayed in the room or hit the sack with him...hubby golfs every morning, so he rises very early for the first tee time. He actually wears golf sandals for time to time.

I bought a pair of Jambu's at my sister's recommendation for my last Disney trip. I just loved them! The ones I bought looked like Mary Jane's. Super cute, mesh on the side, they are vegan so I'm not sure what the toe/heel were made out of.

Exactly! I have teva flip flops (mush ones) that I'm in love with and wear all summer here, and always have in FL with me too. Wouldn't last a day in tennis shoes!

You might want to try a pair of Born. They make really cute sandals and are so comfortable I can wear them all day, even when they're brand new.

Get a solid pair of flip flops that fit your feet shape. I have high arches so I need a lot of support. Check out surf shops and specialized sandal stores. I usually slick with black, just so they'll go with each outfit. :-)
