Default 1st Time Driving - Park @ Contemporary?

We're visiting the in-laws in Tampa and have decided to do a one day trip to MK - can we valet park at Contemporary and walk to MK instead of TTC? We normally stay at Bay Lake so the kids would probably enjoy the walk. Is this possible or are only resort guests allowed to do this? We've never not been a resort guest so I have no idea what the rules are for this.

    Thanks many!

From my understanding this is not allowed. When visiting the contemporary you must go past a guard shack. They will ask you your reason for visit and if you are not a guest checking in you are given, I believe (not sure on exact time), a 3 hour parking pass. Basically long enough for a dining reservation.
    Also cute and fluffy!!!!!

No you cannot. They have guards at the entrance to the hotel and you get a temp parking permit at the resort that is only available for a couple of hours. Enough to eat and shop. Parking at a hotel is primarily for resort guests only.

What is said above is true for normal parking, but I'm fairly certain (not 100%) that you can use the valet parking without any problem. I haven't tried it, but that's the report I've gotten from a couple of people.
