    Default Transportation

I've already checked with INTERCOT sponsor Quicksilver and I'm looking for transportation from Ft Lauderdale port (Princess cruise) to Old Key West.

I don't feel like renting a car... Getting Princess to take us to Ft Lauderdale, renting a car for 1/2 a day, get to MCO, get DME to take me to hotel. This is precious Disney time... I'm willing to pay.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

You might be able to get a taxi at the port terminal. However, this could be pretty pricey and it might be more cost effective to rent a car for the day.

I can't think of any way to get from the port at Ft. Lauderdale to Disney World, unless there is a limousine or towncar service (other than Quicksilver) that might do it for an added fee.

If you don't want to pay for a puddle-jump flight from Ft. Lauderdale to MCO, I think a rental car would be the way to go. Get one from Alamo or National and drop it off on-property at WDW to save some time.

Just try and do a one way car rental from the port and drop it off on property. National has an office at the Swan/Dolphin complex, I think.

    Swan/Dolphin also has Alamo.

I can't think of anything that would be cheaper, or faster than renting a car.

    Default Thanks guys

I had no idea about the drop off service. I thought we would have to go from airport to airport. Shows you how much of a "business traveler" I am.

There should also be rental agencies at or very close to the port (with shuttles provided).

It will be easier than you think.
