Kona Cafe Mid Aug?

Is Kona Cafe impacted by the current construction at the Polynesian? We have reservations in mid-August and not sure if we should go somewhere else.

I would imagine that if 'Ohana is open then Kona will be open as well. That said we do have an ADR for the same time frame you mentioned. We are interested in seeing the construction going on around the resort so this will be a good time to check it out.

Just ate at Kona Cafe last week. The only impact I noticed was walls blocking the view down into the lobby and some construction mess outside of the resort in the parking lots. There was no construction noise, etc. that impacted our time in the restaurant.

Just ate at Kona yesterday. Yes, there are walls hiding the construction, and some noise. But the cafe was business as usual. The only thing missing that I noticed was the chocolate Stitch. He was in the words of a CM, "a little messed up" and is now gone.
