After reading the previous discussion, I got to wondering--manutd1 and DizneyFreak, are you two related? You have very similar phrasing and posting styles, albeit with different viewpoints.

TRICIA JONES: I heard that you were going to propose to Brandi Svenning at some theme park. When are men going to learn that women want ROMANCE, not Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...
BRODIE: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
Well, being forced to buy tickets up front last month (to get FP+ capability) for our March trip ended up being a good thing. At least that's the spin I'm putting on it.
This is the way I'm looking at it too. Our decision to get APs knowing we were going for Christmas and then again this Summer just became and even greater money saving idea.

On the other side of this ever increasing price thing, I caught up with a CM acquaintance yesterday and was told one of the challenges for CMs is burn out. According to them, the company is trying to get by with fewer CMs in the parks so they have worked as much as 70 hours in one week and it can be difficult to deliver top quality. I try to not blame CMs for poor service and instead blame management because, whether the CM is not up to snuff or it is due to other issues, ultimately management is responsible for all of it.
I'm sure working 70 hours+ is good for those paychecks, but doesn't sound like particularly good use of resources.
