Caribbean Beach vs. Pop
Hi all
Debating between Caribbean and Pop and I realize I am comparing moderate to value. They are both on the Skyline line so that's good. The biggest comparison I'm debating is size of the room?
Has anyone stayed in both and noticed a significant difference in room size? There will be 3 of us for reference.
The difference in price is about $700 so Caribbean Beach would have to be that much bigger and have better amenities.
TIA

We have a family of 3 and have stayed in both. Pop is smaller but an easy walk to pools, restaurants, gift shop and transportation. Caribbean room is bigger but the resort is really spread out. Depends where your room is walking to restaurants, pools, transportation may be a long walk. The Caribbean is the largest resort on property and they do have an internal bus system. We did enjoy our stay at both but, preferred the Caribbean.

That Google image is interesting and size does matter although with 3 I think you'd be comfortable in either. We've stayed in both, Pop was years ago and Caribbean was in July. We actually had 3 adults, a 6, 3 and 1 year old. It was tight, but manageable. We only stayed there for one night before moving to the Poly. We wanted to experience the Skyliner. I enjoyed the room, especially when the 3 year old opened her couch/bed. The art there is precious and she was thrilled. We had a room near the Riviera Skyliner station which was convenient. It is a request you can make, but it's never guaranteed. The biggest problem I saw with the Caribbean was the huge property. The map and arrows were not helpful to me. I was lost pretty quickly. I feel like I walk enough (more than enough truthfully!) on a Disney vacation without wandering around at the resort trying to find my way. You'll be happy with either room though.

I haven't noticed a difference in size, but it has been years since I was at either one.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Granted, the info is from a few years back, but they did not increase the size of the rooms in either resort you list.
I love that someone took the time to do this and even included the luggage and beds for size comparison.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

We love staying at either resort because of the Skyliner being right outside your door. I don't mind the size of the Caribbean compared to the Pop. I rather fancy the food court at Caribbean over Pop!

Just for giggles, I just checked the prices for summer 2022 vs. the ones shown on the pic I shared....
Using standard rooms, highest in category; lowest in category - late July (18-25) for comparison
Value: Pop $214/night; ASMu $174/night
Moderate: Coronado Springs $315.29/night; Port Orleans (either) $276.57/night
Deluxe: Grand Floridian $703.86/night; Wilderness Lodge $426/night
Surprisingly, 5 Deluxe resorts are listed at, or below, the 2016 price/night. (Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, Yacht Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Boardwalk Inn)
Did not look at DVC resorts, Art of Animation or Wilderness Lodge Cabins due to the differences in size/style in category.
