I'm visiting WDW in April and on the day that my husband fly out - we're going to Harry Potter World during the day. Flights not till 7 pm.

I'm assuming they'll have lockers for oversized bags when you enter the park - would there be any where to check luggage or should we just plan to pack in large tote bags?

I don't think there is luggage storage that would fit any type of suitcase. I would rent a car at disney and leave it in the trunk, and turn in at the airport. I don't believe that even disney lockers wouldn't be big enough for a carry on roller bag suitcase.

There are no lockers that big. Rent a car and leave in the trunk.

I guess it depends on how big your bags are. I've seen references on the Universal blog that I subscribe to that there are "family-sized" lockers outside Islands of Adventure, with the largest ones being 15.5" wide x 23" high x 35" deep. You might be able to stuff tote bags in there. However, it makes a lot of sense to just rent a car for the day at WDW since you would be able to drive that to Universal and then on to the airport.

Thanks everyone!

I'm leaning towards just packing in small tote bags (we'll only be there 3 days). When I was there in September for 3 days, I just packed a large Victorias Secret bag and it fit in the Universal lockers but I thought I'd see if anyone had other knowledge since I'd only been there that once.

The rental car is a great idea - I'm just not sure I wanna spend the extra time picking it up and dropping off since it'll be a short day in the park anyhow. Opens at 9 am. Our flight is at 6:58 pm so we'd need to be there around 5:30. At least with a cab, once we're dropped off that's it. No waiting or paperwork to account for.
