EPCOT was to be Walt Disney’s dream of the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, and the centerpiece of “The Florida Project”. In some ways, the forward thinking of EPCOT’s futuristic neighbourhoods, and the diversity of cultures in World Showcase still keep a part of Walt’s dream alive. Disney, in this case, turned the idea of EPCOT into a fantastic theme park, and it could be argued, moved the spirit of EPCOT to the Disney-built town of Celebration Florida, only miles from the magic of Walt Disney World.
EPCOT is by far the most “adult” of all the theme parks, but don’t be fooled. There’s plenty to see and do here, and fun for all ages!

World Celebration
As you enter EPCOT from the front gate, you’re greeted warmly by the incredible Spaceship Earth – the geodesic sphere attraction standing a remarkable 180 feet high, and 165 feet in diameter. World Celebration is also home to Communicore Hall and Plaza, where guests come together for EPCOT’s signature festivals throughout the year. You’ll also find Dreamers Point with the incredible statue of Walt Disney overlooking his park.

Luminous The Symphony of Us
Delight in a dramatic show designed to bring us all together. Marvel at a dazzling pageant of fireworks, fountains, music and lights set to an original composition. This pageantry takes place nightly over the World Showcase Lagoon, surrounded by the 11 international pavilions in this area. Check daily showtimes for this fireworks spectacular.
Behind The Seeds Tour
This one-hour tour of the fish farm and 4 greenhouses that make up The Land Pavilion is perfect for anyone with an interest in gardening or natural sciences. You’ll get an up-close view of the Living With The Land attraction, sometimes even backstage, of how EPCOT keeps their garden fresh! Advance reservations are recommended.
