I'm thinking it isn't going to be so great not to have storage for clothes. I hate to live out of a suitcase at Disney!

a friend just got back a few weeks ago. she stayed in a preffered room by the pool and hers was updated! i was trying to decide whether to stay at pop, with hopes of getting a refurbed room, or taking my chances at music. we haven't stayed there yet and would like to add it to our "list" of resorts. has anyone stayed there recently?? i need some advice!

    Default returned from Pop yesterday

We stayed in building 3 (room 3341) and it was great. It's my understanding that ALL the rooms at Pop have been refurbished. I can speak for our room as being in great shape, very comfy and clean. The mattresses were perfect after long days at the parks. (I may not be a good judge, though. I fell asleep on a concrete bench at the fast pass distribution at Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.)

My only complaints with our room was that the speaker phone function on our phone didn't work, so our kids didn't hear the wake-up calls without holding (fighting) over the handset and the volume on the remote wouldn't change unless you pressed the button repeatedly.

    Everything was great.

We stayed at POP in December and they had just completed renovating ALL rooms! When we checked it I asked the Cast Member if we could get an updated room. She told me that had just completed it! So no matter where you are on property, it will be updated!

.....my thoughts exactly. The storage space on / in the chest of drawers was great.....and now I feel it may be lacking. We left WDW last Sept 5th...and as soon as we left our room, we were told it was going to be closed and was going to be re-done (Bldg 4 - 60's section).

I really liked the "cubby's" for storage.....I guess I'll have to cope this coming August (I hate change)

We stayed in building #3 in January. The dresser is smaller, but there is some extra open shelving in the vanity area. I used it to stack our dirty laundry.
