Cool....I thought that I had read somewhere that after a certain time you had to pick up your own bags at baggage claim and bring them to the shuttles, but I could have been thinking of something else.

Be sure to give yourself plenty of time on departure morning if you're counting on bell services to help with luggage. They can take longer than expected to get to you. Also, be sure to be at the bus stop early. Our last DME bus came 15 minutes early. Better to be all packed and waiting than to miss a bus and have to wait for another.

I know exactly what you mean about bell services. I called them on our last trip when we were leaving, and finally just took the bags myself to make sure we didn't miss the bus. I'll probably do that myself again this time especially since I'll be checking the bags with airlines at the resort.

I'm not sure about the late arrival and if they take your bags for you, but if they do just pack what you'll need in your carryon-night clothes, toothbrush etc in case they don't deliver it first thing in the morning.

Leaving early, they'll pick you up 3 hours prior to your flight. You should still be able to check your bags at the resort. We have luggage on wheels so just brought our own luggage down to the drop off area.

As of March 30, 2009 DME will not provide luggage service on flights arriving after 10 om. You can still use DME but you will have to claim your luggage yourself and bring it with you to the motor coach. Pick up times back to the airport are generally 3 hours prior to flight times that are domestic and 4 hours for international and pick up times are at top of the hour, 20 minutes after the hour and 40 minutes after the hour depending on which ever is closest to your flight time.

Since you have a very early flight, the DME motor coach reservations will probably be light so expect to stop at more then 1 resort for other pick ups.
