Ohana.....

We will be checking into AOA on Aug 20-31! Our first night we always go to dinner at Ohanas. I have just read that they no longer serve the salad with the honey lime dressing..... For me this was the only thing I really love there....like really love there! Even though I make this at home it still isn't the same! Could someone tell me if they have recently been to Ohanas and is this really true.

We eat at Ohanas on our first night of every trip too. Last November the salad was different from what we previously had. I personally did not like the new salad at all. It had some fruit in it, mandarins I think, and a different dressing that I didn't like I am sorry to say. I loved the salad they served before this one. This time I took a couple bites and that's was it for me.

Mixed Greens Salad with Lilikoi Dressing

Spicy Grilled Peel-n-Eat Shrimp

I heard that they have quit bringing it out, but if you want it, you can ask for it and they will bring you one.

There isn't salad any longer at 'Ohana. They now have lettuce wraps - which have been getting horrendous reviews (I haven't personally had them).

With all the cutbacks (no poultry skewers, for example) and the massive construction project at the Poly, I haven't read a good review on 'Ohana in months.

Aw! I'm kind of bummed to see this - we have ADR's there in September and I'm honestly reconsidering them!

Can anyone tell me what, if anything, they have by way of kids meals?

Wow, no chicken wings OR chicken skewers? Glad our visit last fall was before this change. I love the chicken wings, and since I'm not one or shrimp, chicken was my second fave skewer after the steak.

Well I enjoyed the salad but wouldn't miss it. And there is chicken wings so I'm still having chicken. I'm prob in the minority but I'd rather lose the shrimp skewer & bring back a turkey! I love seafood but the shrimp is always so messy to try to eat there.
