Default UV Sunbrellas in parks/ resorts?

Starting to pack for our trip coming up in 3 weeks. Yay! I know its going to be hot and humid. I am thinking about ordering a UV blocking sunbrella/parasol, and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations, and also that would be allowed at MK right? I think it would really help walking around CBR and DD, and everywhere else for that matter.

Anyone have any experience with that? Or other UV blocking clothing/ hats?

    Thanks!

What are going to do with it on rides? And in the evening after the sun goes down? And during parades (the 3:00 parade) and castle forecourt shows? You certainly don't want to block anyone elses view with it.

You would be much better off with hat(s) and a good sunscreen.

I've taken one to MK before. I mainly used it for when we were walking around and waiting on shows/parades to start. Once the parades/shows started, I lowered it and put it in my book bag so as not to block any ones views. I got mine from Amazon, I think, and it folds up to about 7" long and fit nicely in my book bag. I'm taking it again on our next trip.

I guess like with any other retractable umbrella, I was planning on stowing it in our backpack on the rides. The ones I'm looking at are quite small and fold up so they'll fit in a backpack or stick it in the stroller. We aren't planning on being there during the parade, so that won't be an issue. My plan is to go to MK in the morning, leave around 1ish, go back to the hotel and rest, then head back out around 5:30, so I won't bring it back that night. And from what people are telling me, CBR has alot of walking and not much shade, so I'm thinking in the heat of the day, it would be nice to have an option to shield my skin when walking to lunch, etc...

My friend had a small umbrella she carried last time we went to MK as it was raining, and she just folded it up and stowed it in their bag when not in use. It didn't seem to be an issue at all.

I'll definitely have lots of sunscreen on and a hat as well.

    Thanks for the comments.

Do you have any idea of the brand? I've looked on Amazon and ebay, and there are so many choices!

I've never gotten burned at WDW before, but we've also never been in July. I always head towards the shade no matter where we are. I thought at Aulani that we'd be in the sun all the time, but there was so much shade and so many umbrellas that it wasn't an issue at all. I've become uber-sensitive about skin protection the past few years, especially as my great-grandfather died from skin cancer
