Good morning, everyone -- sounds like you all had busy Saturdays!! Not very many of you around -- unlike Friday night!!

We had fun in Buffalo yesterday - very relaxing, just bbq'd and caught up with old friends. The girls and I even got to ride a little, which was very nice! We didn't get back until 10:45, though - so everyone's a little this morning!

What's up for today? We're not doing much - DH has some stuff planned around the house, the girls are looking forward to a "stay home & play day" ("finally!!!" they said... ) and I've got some errands to run for our trip. Other than that, just going to enjoy the nice !!

Nice touch last night at dinner, Jym! Did the roses just appear or were you working some magic behind the scenes?

    Buffalo?

More "Meet stuff" on the agenda for me today as well as some scrapbooking, laundry (never did get around to doing it yesterday... I'll just say that I'm jealous of those of you who have a w/d in the comfort of your own four walls), and some projects for work. Ben wants to go to the movies (two we have in mind: The Game Plan and Across the Universe which is rated PG-13 but seems a bit mature for him though he's asked to see it from the first time he saw the trailer). I also have to go to Target to return a lamp they sent in the WRONG color.

    Later!

Hello all. Top of the 8th and the Mets are down by 7!!!!! What are the chances they will pull 8 runs out of the bag in 2 innings?

Alas, I think it is the end of what could have been a glorious season!

    Stop smirking Alex!!!!!

Hope everyone's weekend is going better than Willy Randolph's!

How do these things happen anyway? Sure glad I decided not to go visit my mom today... there's nothing worse than my stepfather when HIS team is losing.

Does anyone know if they have sorbet at Ghirardelli's? Only 10 more sleeps until we get together!

Aaahhhh! The in-laws just left. Who knew that sitting around with the in-laws all weekend, doing nothing, could be so exhausting?? The good news? The house is clean! The bad news? Tomorrow is the start of another work week! I think I need a weekend to recover from the weekend!

Who else feels like the weekend just got started?

Yes, you look lovely in all those zeros. Congratulations.

Deb, a moon pie is kind of two round graham cracker cookies with a marshmallow center and (usually) chocolate coating. They're very good.
The company has a website where you can see them.
