Default Water Park Tickets for entire stay?

We heading to WDW 8/27 and staying for 8 days until 9/4. We are staying at the Beach Club with 3 DS' ages (at time of trip) 9, 7 & 2. We have the 8 day park hoppers but we are not sure how to handle the Water Park issue. I don't see a need to buy the Water Park tix for the entire stay as we plan on being in the parks most of the days. I think I read somewhere that you can purchase the water park ticket and it is good for 2 days?

Anyone with info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Well I'm not aware of any passes that let you go back another day, but you have the option of adding the Water Park & More option onto your passes.

That would give you up to 8 visits to the Water Parks during the week for the cost of $52 per pass, the regular one day pass is $45 plus tax.

My family is planning a trip for 2011. We have 10 day park hopper passes and will be there for 11 full days. On the off day I wanted to go to a water park. I looked up the price of upgrading our park hoppers with the waterparks and more option versus buying a one day waterpark ticket. For our family of 2 adults and 2 children it was more cost effective to buy the separate waterpark ticket. In this case it will also not use up one of our "park days".

Beach Club has it's own waterpark like pool. You could hold off adding the Waterpark Option to the tickets until you check that out. The extra options would get you into DisneyQuest as well. It might be worth it if you want to check out both the big Disney waterparks and DisneyQuest. Please look up the guidelines for using the extra options. We usually get the options and do 2 short visits to DisneyQuest as well as 3 shorter visits at waterparks.

FYI, the waterparks do not count towards your "park days".

I've gotta tell you too...the water parks are awesome. You are missing out if you only go to one of them.

But is the cost $52.00 per day or just a flat $52.00 for the whole 8 day stay? That's what was confusing me.

I certainly do not want to pay $52.00 per day knowing full well that we will not do the waterparks all 8 days. Especially seeing as how we picked the Beach Club due to the fabulous pool and the age of our kids.

Thanks so much for the help in figuring this out.

It would be a flat $52 per ticket for the stay.

If you're going to go to both waterparks, or to a waterpark and Disney Quest, then it is worth your $$ to upgrade. Otherwise, the single-entry ticket is a better deal.

Here's my beef with Stormalong Bay at YC/BC.
It was a great pool area until the DVC villas were built at BC. Now Stormalong Bay isn't really big enough to support the crowds during peak season.
Sometimes it's hard to find a decent spot to sit because of the crowd.

Now, why would you need to sit at Stormalong Bay?

We will be there the week before Easter. I don't expect to see any open loungers, and I frankly couldn't care less. I don't do ANY sitting while my boys want to swim. I'm in there with them! The only sitting I do is in the hot tub.

But, I get what you're saying. It doesn't make sense to build on a DVC without adding it's OWN awesome pool area. The BCV and BWV have lame "quiet pools" to accommodate the overflow. Who wants to use those when there is such a great feature pool? I think with AKV and BLT, they finally figured that out...
