Post with highest number of page views
Just out of my own geeky curiosity -- do you have any idea which thread(s) generated the highest number of page views on Intercot?
Errrr, while I was posting this I thought of the "dolls" threads. OK, not counting those, do you know which was or were the highest?
Again, just curious. Thanks!

I don't think I was around for the 'dolls' thread, but I know that the 'jorts' thread got a lot of attention.
Good question.

I'd guess it's one of the games threads in that forum. Just Questions used to draw ridiculous levels of page views.
I will say, though, that my Trip Report of our stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite is probably up there too, though.

The Who's your Favorite Character thread that started in 2002 is still very popular and has had over 33,000 views over the years.
That being said.. Ian's Castle trip report has had over 52,000 page views.
I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.

This thread is drawing it's fair share of views.
I tried reading that dolls thread and didn't get it. The humor is completely lost on me (and I'm one of the funniest people I know... ).

No doubt. Ian got to do something that only a handful of people have ever had (or ever will have) the opportunity to do. Of course we read every word with great interest and envy.

Don't worry. I didn't get it then and still don't get it now.

Now I'm curious about the dolls. People mention the dolls from time to time, but I never knew what it meant. Maybe a Link for the uninitiated?

Amanda, do a search in the FAQ forum, specifically here, for 'dolls' and quite a few topics will come up.

Jorts had over 17,000 views in 4 months. What has started out as serious question took on a life of its own during the summer of 2009. Unfortunately, the Mods grew tired of it and still refuse to move or re-open the thread, even for special holidays.

Awww RIP Jorts thread. That was a good one!

Sometimes - you need to put things out of their misery... they either aren't funny anymore, are off topic, or try to take a life on their own and to restore order in the INTERCOT universe, need to go away . Sometimes there is a greater picture which we don't care to or won't explain. That's just life.
Complaining isn't going to bring it back nor is portraying the staff as "meanies" for closing it. Everything is done for a reason - some obvious, some not quite as obvious.
On the whole, we generally try with all our might to let things run their course before closing any topic.
Nuff said.

While the demise of the infamous Jorts Thread was mourned by some ...it was also celebrated by others. I was in the second category.
