When will they release rates for January 2015?
We are planning to go right after New Years in 2015, which is now less than 180 days away. We can book ADRs, but can't look at hotel rates yet. Just curious.
2002 - 2022: 20+ visits (POR, BW, All Stars, VWL, CSR, BLT, BC, SSR, CB, Dolphin, OKW, Poly, offsite x8)
DL - 1996, 2019
Next up - January 2023 short trip! We just want to try that 50th Anniversary chocolate monstrosity at Mexico!

OK, I was assuming that it was 180 days. It's actually 190 days. But still...a valid question.

Rates are usually released late summer. To get an idea of the rates you can use dates between August 17 and Sept 25 and figure between a 5% and 10% increase, this is value season as is January (with the exception of MLK weekend).
Once you decide I suggest contacting Magical Journeys. They can book what you want and then change it over when the packages are released. They will also check for any specials that may arise.

Thanks. We almost always use Karen at MJ. She rocks!

I know!! We were looking at Jan/Feb 2015 and they're killing me! Our dates are flexible, so I really want to wait to see what kinds of specials they might release.
I had always heard mid-July, but it looks like it's going to be later this year.
It will be our daughter's first trip so I'm even more excited for this one.
Going on 25+ visits
1980-1999

2000 All Star Movies
2000 Dixie Landings
2001 Disney Institute Villas
2001, 2002, 2003 Riverside

We are still waiting for the release of 2015 packages. Specials for the beginning of 2015 won't come until later. I think last year they were released on October.

I just read on the Disney World website that rates for 2015 packages will be released on July 30th.
Karen
"It's snowing still," said Eeyore gloomily.
"So it is."
"And freezing."
"Is it?"
"Yes," said Eeyore. "However," he said, brightening up a little, "we haven't had an earthquake lately."

I just read that, too. You can go on and choose the dates for January (which you couldn't before), but when it searches, it doesn't return any rates. I just asked Karen to book it for us.
