If all the queues become virtual, then all those who were in the queues are now milling around the park making it seem even more crowded.
That plus can you imagine trying to figure out the logistics and keeping track of the virtual ques in your mind and dealing with all of it. That would be super stressful. If they go to an all virtual que system and no standby lines at all, it will most likely be the end of us ever visiting again. FP+ was bad enough to deal with and caused me to drastically reduce my visits. We stopped buying annual passes after our first FP+ experience and then dropped back to not even going once a year.

I'm with you - all virtual is just plain nutty. I really don't want to be looking at my phone every 5 minutes to figure my vacation out.

Disney world will mimic real life then….everyone experiencing life through a phone.
