Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Smoke-Free Policy

On June 1, 2007 all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and Walt Disney World Vacation Club properties eliminated all Smoking Optional Rooms and instituted a Smoke-Free Policy. This revised policy dictates that smoking is not permitted in all guest rooms, room patios, room balconies, lobbies, undesignated common areas, restaurants and convention spaces. Guests who do not abide by the policy will be charged a cleaning and recovery fee ranging from $250 to $500 (varying by resort) for each violation. Guests are only permitted to smoke in outdoor designated smoking areas at each resort.
