Morocco

Featured in this unique pavilion, you will find shops and some  outstanding dining. You'll also find the Gallery of Arts and History and Moroccan National Tourist Office. This pavilion is perhaps the most authentic in World Showcase due to the fact that King Hasan II of Morocco sent in his own artisans to oversee the architectural design and create the numerous mosaics that grace the pavilion. Due to the religious significance of the buildings in this pavilion, it remains in the dark during Illuminations.

Intercot Fun Fact: The Tower of Terror in Disney's Hollywood Studios is seen at an angle from the Moroccan pavilion, and the top of the Tower is designed so it blends in with the Moroccan architecture.

Dining

For foodies, "Marrakesh" features the best of Moroccan cuisine including lamb, chicken and of course, couscous.  Enjoy the music and delight to the entertainment of Belly Dancers.

A new addition to the shore of World Showcase Lagoon is Spice Road Table, an open air, covered spot serving up tapas (small plates) of authentic Moroccan favorites such as spicy garlic shrimp, fried calamari, beef and chicken skewers, and coriander crusted rack of lamb. A selection of alcoholic drinks is also available. Spice Road Table is a wonderful spot to watch Illuminations at night, if you can score a table.

Tangierine Cafe offers up Moroccan favorites, quick service style. The plates here are large and are a great bargain!
