Here's a question for people who have stayed at multiple value resorts.....
I have never tried any of the value hotels and we usually have a car, but I am thinking about taking my niece down for a girls trip next year and won't be renting a car. Which value has the best bus service to the parks in your opinion.
It would be just her an I so I'm not too concerned with the room size but we would be using the bus system (which I am not a big fan of) and would like it to go as smooth as possible.

Flip a coin. All in all there is not much significant difference between the bus service from Pop Century and the All-Star resorts. Pop Century has one bus stop, and eaach of the All-Stars has their own, which mean the All-Star resorts sometimes share buses. But we have stayed at both place and have found there to not be enough advantage one over the other to have the bus service influence our decision about where to stay. I'd choose the resort I think my family would like the most.
If the transportation issues are that important to you, then a value is probably not going to be your cup of tea. Bus service to values when leaving the parks, especially at closing time at MK is pretty bad (long waits to board), no matter which one you are staying at. Other than that, it's not really too bad at All-Stars or Pop.

We've stayed at all the values except AoA. As PP has said, not much difference between them. Although the All Stars do share(not a fan of sharing buses) I would select POP.

Oh...I didn't know there was only one bus stop at each resort....Not what I wanted to hear. lol

We usually have a car so don't use the buses much. We haven't had good luck with buses at Pop Century, especially to and from Downtown Disney.

I think Pop is the best option. If you get a room in the 80's section, the bus stop AND the main building are very close. AoA is out since you'd probably get a Little Mermaid room and those are FAR from the bus stop. The All Stars are just kind of run down at this point and I think Pop is a much better option.

I would suggest POP also.

Thanks everyone. I will look into the POP, but I might even go for a moderate instead. I was trying to go for the cheapest way but I may just have to spend a little more.

I would definitely go with either Pop or AoA because of the dedicated bus. In my experience the potential for shared buses at the All Stars can be bad, though I usually have a care as well.
For what it's worth, we had a LM room at AoA last year, and I didn't really think the walk to the main bldg. and bus stop was that bad.

I've not had a problem with the All Star buses. I've been several times where each All Star resort had their own bus. And those times when its shared- the buses arrive more frequently.
I like POP too. aoA is fine. I have had problems with All Stars but last trip they didn't share buses during busy times so they were fine. I woud just go with the best rate you can get. But POP is my home-away-from home.

Having one bus stop per resort is not a big issue. They are not nearly as large as some of the moderates and it simply isn't necessary to have more than one bus stop per resort. I have had relatively good bus service with all the values. The All Stars do generally share with the exception of MK. They are separate. You cannot go wrong with any of them, but Sports is always the first stop. I love the theming at AoA, but the others are cute too.

This.
Additionally, my experience is they share buses during the day (generally) but have dedicated buses for morning and evening services.
