Any news on the opening date of the Cake Bake Shop on The Boardwalk?  Seems like forever since there has been any updates.  Our last trip to Disney @ The Boardwalk Villas was January and it seems like no work was going on.

Also, the Big River Grille & Brewing Works closed.....anything going in there?

No word on opening date - but I saw some pictures a few days ago that showed the exterior looking pretty much complete.

I’d guess before the end of the year but you know how slow Disney is to get stuff done lately.

They really are SLOW!  I can't believe no word on estimated opening.  Having a Pastry Chef/Cake Artist in the family, we were looking forward to checking it out, but who knows when that will happen.

The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers had its soft opening on Thursday, October 24th, and its official grand opening is on Friday, October 25th.  While it looks like a beautiful place, the prices are a bit high and I don't know how it will do there on the Boardwalk.

I'm rather excited that it has FINALLY opened ... we've been waiting so long for it. I just hope it was worth the wait and super yummy. There was some excitement about them offering an afternoon tea, has anyone heard anything about that?

Didn't see anything about the WDW location offering afternoon tea, but I saw their other locations offer it, so maybe soon.
