It's too soon to be a "must-do," since we've only eaten there once, but The BOATHOUSE is a "must-do" for our upcoming trip. We had our best meal there on our last vacation

(Chef Mickey's and Hoop Dee Do are really, really would-like to-dos.)

I'm sorry to say but Ohana's is a "never-do" for us. We ate there once and wife and DD did not like it at all and they have no desire to go back. (I personally enjoyed it.)

I have a long list of places that we love and happily we go down often enough that if we don't catch one of our favorites on a trip we'll do it on the next one.
Currently there is only one place that I will not give another try and that is Portabello's in Disney Springs. The whole experience there was terrible from the huge wait before being seated in a half empty restaurant with 180 day made ADRs, then the food being boring and some items just bad, to the waitress being MIA and rude. Never, ever again.

Must do.... Boma.

Never do....... can't think of one.

best,

...............john

EDIT: Just thought of one...... Teppan Edo. Not because of ever eating there. But simply because that is not Japanese food..... it is Americanized Japanese with a Chinese twist. As someone who spends a lot of time in Japan........ it does not really interest me.

Our never must do again is Hollywood and Vine minnie's seasonal dinner. My husband and I rated the food a 4 out of 10. While most character interactions with my 20 month old daughter were great, minnie mouse herself came to our table and just stood next to my daughter for a picture and wouldnt interact with her

We have a few must do's. Ohana, Nine Dragons (my hubby and I love it) and 1900 park fair for dinner. The characters from cinderella were amazing, they all interacted with my daughter multiple times and we loved the food. Hubby rated it 9 out of 10 :mickey3:

Must do- Citricos, Le Cellier, Brown Derby,Teppan Edo,
Never Ever- Liberty Tree Tavern for Dinner- We all hated this. I know it is strong words but the meal was just not for us. Everything was just bad including sketchy service. Could not get beverages for the life of us. Meats were not edible. So disappointed as it was highly recommended.

My son loves it! For me there is a spice that they use that I do not care for, not even sure what spice it is, but I know I didn't like it. The food in the concierge lounge often had it as well.

I am basically an Irish meat and potatoes girl. My favorite meal is a good sandwich on great bread. I am not a person that you take to an adventurous culinary event.

Must do is Sanaa...one of our favorite restaurants ever. Also, Garden Grill and Cape May Cafe. Never do would be Chef Mickey's. Too overpriced, too much noise, and too much chaos! And too much terrible food!

Musts, don't really have one. Maybe Boatwrights at POR if we are staying there.

Must not, pretty much anything at Disney Studios. We only do them, for the VIP Fantasmic. Other than that, horrible.

I don't like the spice either and I think it might be cumin.

Must Do: Boma & Tusker House. Both have wonderful vegetarian offerings, and spices/flavors that can't be found anywhere else on property. I'm not actually a fan of buffets, mainly because I'm not a big eater, but I can't pass up these places because I love the food. My husband & I also like to eat at Narcoossee's when we stay at GF.

Never Again: The Yak & Yeti. I gave it 3 tries, it struck out all 3 times. The food is just "blah" and over priced. The theme is nice though, and there are some great tables on the 2nd floor.

Must Do's - Ohana breakfast. Great food and Stitch!!!
Raglan Road. Amazing food, Magners cider and some of the best music and dance, I am a quarter Irish so possibly biased LOL
Never Do's - Boma dinner. We found the food very uninteresting.
Ohana dinner. Although the food was good, we felt rushed, like they wanted us in and out ASAP. We like to take our time on vacation as we are time poor all year
