I made my presentation to my husband last night, and he was surprisingly agreeable. We crunched numbers and decided a resale was our best bet to get the points we want at a reasonable cost (including dues through the years). So now just the waiting.
Congrats! We just wrapped the same process as first time resales buyers. It is indeed a big savings, but it depends on how much you plan to go. Certainly those that plan to go every year will save the most. We usually go every two to three, but it is still a huge savings over the life of the time share with normal inflation. Good luck!
